The Alabama legislature recently introduced a bill that would prohibit driver’s license suspensions for failure to pay a fine, fee, court cost or restitution imposed as a result of a traffic violation. The bill would also prohibit suspension of a driver’s license for failure to appear in court when the appearance is for post adjudication compliance review of court ordered conditions.
