Emerson is the Social Media Manager at FFJC, working to advance its mission through creative digital campaigns and strategies.

Prior to joining FFJC, Emerson worked in digital communications at Protect Democracy, where they spearheaded efforts in social media, press and media relations, and digital events. They have supported communications and organizing efforts for the Duke Graduate Student Union (SEIU) and the Pauli Murray Center for History and Social Justice, and previously worked in Legal Aid of North Carolina’s Eviction Diversion Program.

Emerson holds a B.A. in Political Science and American Studies from Wellesley College.
