As Director of Communications, Jag oversees all communications efforts at FFJC, including media, messaging, and digital strategies.
Jag previously served for 10 years as Director of Communications Strategy and in other positions at the Drug Policy Alliance, where he helped pass dozens of groundbreaking local, state and federal reforms. He also formerly served as Director of Communications at MAPS and as Policy Researcher for the American Civil Liberties Union.
His writings have appeared in the New York Times, New York Daily News, San Francisco Chronicle, Tallahassee Democrat, Playboy, CNN.com, STAT, The Hill, HuffPost and numerous other outlets.
Jag holds a B.A. in cultural anthropology from New College of Florida, the state’s honors college. He grew up in Miami and currently lives in New York City.
