Mo Williams
Operations Associate
Mo Williams (he/they) is the Operations Associate at the Fines and Fees Justice Center (FFJC).
Prior to joining FFJC, they served as the Program & Grants Manager at the Environmental Leadership Program (ELP), where they advanced equity and representation for BIPOC leaders in environmental fields and strengthened grantmaking and program operations for the RAY Fellowship Program. Previously, he worked as a Community Support Associate at JustFund, providing comprehensive technical and grants management support to philanthropic partners and nonprofit organizations using the JustFund platform.
Earlier in their career, they held multiple roles at The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center in New York City, including Government Affairs Project Associate and Development Associate. In these positions, he co-led the RiseOut Activist-in-Residence fellowship, managed government grant submissions, and supported donor relations and data integrity across development initiatives. Before their work in nonprofit advocacy, Mo served as an Administrative Clerk at the United Nations, where they supported diplomatic operations and data management for UN members.
With more than nine years of experience in nonprofit administration, grant management, and community programming, Mo has dedicated his career to advancing equity, authenticity, and belonging across diverse movements for justice.
Originally from the Bronx, NYC, they now reside in Atlanta, Georgia. He enjoys caring for his three cats, Olivia, Archie, and Chuckie Tails and his bearded dragon, Lucy. A passionate foodie, Mo also loves exploring new restaurants, hiking local trails, discovering new music, singing karaoke, playing Stardew Valley, and watching Star Trek.
