Leslie Turner
Nevada State Deputy Director
Leslie Ann Turner is the Fines and Fees Justice Center’s Nevada State Deputy Director. Located in Las Vegas, Nevada, Leslie is a longtime community organizer having done an immense amount of work across Nevada, as well as in California.
Leslie is the co-founder of the Mass Liberation Project Nevada, and grassroots abolitionist movement. She has worked with local and national organizations to bring forth change in many ways, including through policy, protest, and civic engagement. Leslie is a UNLV alumni, with a double bachelors in criminal justice and sociology. Leslie is also a writer and photographer, using her creative lens to aid in the struggle for liberation.
