Brie Sillery

New Mexico Policy Advocate

Brie Sillery is the Fines and Fees Justice Center’s New Mexico Policy Advocate. With years of experience in advocacy, project management, and communications, she has a proven track record of fighting for affordable housing and ending homelessness. She has worked with federal, state, and local governments to advocate for community-based organizations and individuals experiencing homelessness, focusing on addressing the root causes of poverty and increasing access to resources.

Before joining FFJC, Brie served as the Communications Strategist with the New Mexico Coalition to End Homelessness. In this role, she led lobbying efforts at both the state and local levels, participated in strategic planning, coordinated coalition members, and organized for change.

Brie is a founding member of the Albuquerque Healing Network, a community-based organization comprised of individuals with lived experience of homelessness. The Network aims to combat tokenism and empower economically disadvantaged people through community building and participation in governing boards and committees.
