Nevada AB 110 makes changes to the notification process for traffic tickets and related court dates.

Key Provisions
- Courts may not issue bench warrants for failure to appear in court over a parking ticket if the court is unable to successfully deliver notification of the court date to the defendant.
- If a court is having trouble contacting a defendant regarding a court date for a traffic ticket, the Department of Motor Vehicles may share any relevant contact information or addresses on file with the court.
- When issuing tickets, police officers may collect the phone number or email of drivers to facilitate notification of related court dates.
- Traffic tickets will be redesigned to clearly state the date and time of related court dates and the consequences of failing to appear in court.
