MN HF 10

The Minnesota legislature passed an omnibus transportation bill prohibiting driver’s license suspensions after a conviction for driving on a suspended or revoked license or based solely on a person’s failure to pay a traffic ticket, parking fine, or surcharge from a parking citation. The bill also prohibits the Department of Public Safety from suspending a person’s driver’s license based on failure to appear in court after receiving a citation for a petty misdemeanor or driving after suspension.
