Grants & Operations Manager
Burdock is the Grants & Operations Manager of the Fines and Fees Justice Center.
Prior to joining FFJC, Burdock held the position of Operations Director at Colorado Youth Congress, empowering high school leaders to challenge oppressive systems in areas such as racial justice and mental health. Previously, Burdock was the Vice President of Internal Resources at The Gathering Place, addressing the impacts of marginalization and oppression that contribute to poverty and homelessness. Before TGP, Burdock was the Operations Manager at One Colorado, the state’s leading LGBTQIA2S+ advocacy organization. Prior to One Colorado, Burdock served as the CEO of the Plains Conservation Center, preserving and protecting thousands of acres of prairie ecosystem in Colorado. Burdock began their nonprofit career in Marketing & Communications at PBS.
With a Master’s in Business Administration, Burdock combines their love for exploring innovative business practices with a deep commitment to dismantling systems of oppression. Their dedication to making a positive impact is driven by a belief in the power of collective action and the importance of equality for all.
