FFJC Co-Director Joanna Weiss moderates New York City Bar Association panel on New York’s mandatory surcharges
On Wednesday, November 28, FFJC Co-Director Joanna Weiss moderated a New York City Bar Association panel about New York’s mandatory surcharges. Joanna was joined by NY State Supreme Court’s Hon. Daniel P. Conviser, Brooklyn Defender Services’ Ashika David, University of Washington Professor Karin Martin, NCLEJ’s Claudia Wilner, and JustLeadershipUSA’s Ashley Gantt.
The New York City Bar Association also recently released a report calling for the abolition of New York’s mandatory surcharge, which you can read here.
